~ 2009 Planner ~
I just noticed that I had finished the 2009 Planner but had not shared it on my blog. I came across A Journey So Far in the end of 2008. I worked on the Planner and finally finished it in the first week of 2009.
I changed a few of the things you were "suppose" to do, but I always do. I never follow someone else's instructions to the T (unless I am cooking). My tag to let me know which month I am on, reminds of my plans for 2009. Dreams, Hopes, Wishes and Aspirations (remember instead of Resolutions)! I like to change it up to make it MINE! It doesn't fit in my purse, but it sits on my desk in all it's Glory! Enjoy

~Chinese New Year ~
Here is my forecast for the year, overall looks good! I am excited!!
Pig Overview
The Pig has many opportunities to shine this year. Your generous nature is apparent in all aspects of your life. It is an admired quality that people respect. This year, your inherent generosity plays a large role in areas that you may not even be aware and may pave the way to a possible career change. You have an abundance of friends and you are well loved by your family. this year will only enhance these relations. One area that may create some issues is that you seem to overextend yourself to a point where there isn't any time left for you. This could lead to a change in priorities and could promote some better organizational skills.
Pig Rating
53% (2 favorable 9 neutral and 1 unfavorable month)
Pig Career
The Pig may feel complacency in your current job position. This could be a year that you may need a change towards something that is more suitable for your needs. You may gravitate towards something that is more of a position that provides service to others, perhaps a non-profit organization or a customer service based position. Your busy schedule will also play a part in your work. You may be forced to choose between certain activities, as there are only seven, not eight days in a week. Whatever the course may be for your career, you will fit in well with your endearing personality.
Pig Relationships
Personally, 2009 will be a year that the Pig will enjoy much happiness. Both your social and domestic life will be endearing to you, providing you with encouragement and advice. Your family and friends will be the source of many memorable occasions this year. For the unattached Pig, there will be some romantic opportunities. Be careful who you let into your circle, as you tend to give others too much credit. July is a particularly favorable month for all Pigs.
Pig Health
The Pig would do well to watch your health this year. There may be an unforeseen incident that arises sometime during the year, most likely in late April or early May. This may cause you to look at your habits relating to your health. One area in particular is your diet. This year could provide a change in your eating habits, which could help other areas of your health.
Pig Wealth
There may be times this year when you are uncertain about your financial future, but there are things in your life that take precedence over money. You will be taken care of, but there may be times of financial uncertainty. A change will come in the second half of the year that will provide greater financial comfort and allow you to live at a means that is more accustomed to your liking. Be patient, as the change will come.

~ I want $100 in my PayPal account ~
I was surfing the net and drinking my morning coffee, when I happened upon this site
Wealthy Miser. Now it is not either ASL or Art related. It is a Technical site on Blogging and making money with your blog (something I have become more and more interested in, but don't want a bunch of crappy ads)! They are having a "Spread the Love Contest" where one can win $100 straight to their Paypal account. I don't know about you, but I can always use an extra $100! Wish Me luck!!!

~ Proud Mama ~
I am so stinking proud of my daughter I want EVERYONE to know! Remember about the Cooking Contest that was part of my daughters Final in Culinary Arts. She made an AWESOME (no really, I am not being bias!) Overnight Coffee Cake and her theme was duh...Coffee. She did all the cooking herself, I only assisted with giving her ideas for her presentation. I just may have a future Top Chef on my hands!
I have been waiting to hear how she did. Today, on our way home from school I asked her if she found out yet. She nonchalantly says, "Yeah, I got these" and pulls out TWO awards!!! TWO!!!! The first one was for "1st Place in the Dessert" category and the second one was for "Best in Show"! I told her I was so proud of her and gave her a High 5. She is 15 ya know, so no hugs and kisses in public! So we arrive home, did homework, ate some dinner and then she says, "Oh yeah, I forgot!" and leaves the room. I am thinking she forgot something for the Final in English or Biology she is taking tomorrow. Nope! She comes waltzing out with a Grocery Store Gift Card for $25, a iTunes Gift Card for $25 and a new book "Holiday Baking" by Sara Perry! WHOA!!!
How can you forget all that!! I guess easy to do when your too busy texting your friends about non-important crap! I think tomorrow I am going to go buy a Proud Mama shirt!

~ The Next Chapter ~
If you have been keep up with my blog you know that I joined an online blogging book group. The Next Chapter is reading "The 12 Habits of Highly Creative Woman". In Chapter 2 is about Honoring your Inspirations. What have you always loved?
I have always loved ASL and a few years ago I started making things to incorporate my love for ASL into Art: Tags, Jewelry, Canvas, Mixed Media, Christmas ornaments, and even mosaics. I have often donated my ASL Art to benefit different organization in the Deaf Community, such as Deaf Hope.

Today I started The Next Chapter book blogging group. The book they are doing this time is "12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women" The first Secret is to Acknowleding Your Creative Self. I feel that I have already done this and continue to do so. I have sold, given and donated my art to different people and organizations. I am currently trying to get up the funds to attend ZNE ConvenZioNE 2009, I am reading the book "I'd Rather be in the Studio!", and I have joined the Creative Every day group to remind myself to be creative in different ways, everyday! I think I am on a good roll here. I am determined to keep it up so that I may get a piece of my Artwork published in 2009. Have you acknowledged your creative self?

~ ZNE ConvenZioNE 2009 ~
Have YOU heard?? It's ZNE ConvenZioNE time again!! Well, soon anyways, but ya gotta register ahead of time in order to go! Last Year I had the extreme pleasure of attending the 1st ever ZNE ConvenZioNE (you can read about it here) I met some wonderul Famous Artists! Such as B Original's Michele Beschen ! I met Michele on the first day during lunch, she is such a wonderful person. She was the Emcee for the Evening Program. And then there was Succulent Wild Woman herself SARK! She has a truely amazing story! I felt so inspired after I attended the breakfast with her. I even bought one of her books! I also go to meet some wonderful Creative Souls that I had chatted with online through the ZNE Site! I took the Fabulous JoAnnA Pierotti's Nestled ~ Thinking Inside the Box. I really enjoyed meeting her and the other gals that I had met in the class. All are such fabuouls Artist. I even won JoAnnA's drawing for the book she is featured in "Art Making, Collections, and Obsessions: An Intimate Exploration of the Mixed-Media Work and Collections of 35 Artists" This was a book that I was eyeing at the bookstore just a week prior to atteneding and something told me just to wait a bit before I bought it! I am so glad I did, because it meant so much more to coming from JoAnnA. We spent the afternoon creating and laughing in a Gorgeous Estate in Livermore!
Well ZNE ConvenZioNE is coming again this year from April 29 to May 3, 2009. I encourage you to hop on over and register! If you sign up for the ConvenZioNE, please let the Queen of ZNE know where you heard the Fabulous news from, ME! This group of Artist is really a wonderful community of Artist who have come together and formed close friendships! If you are already a memeber then you already know all about this EXCITING event and wonderful community. I hope to be seeing you there!
