So much has changed in the blogging world.  I am beginning to update my blog and bring all new content.  I am EXCITED!! I will still post my Art, eBay adventures, but I am also going to be adding Mid-Size Fashion to the mix. Being body positive is a new thing for me and I am looking forward to sharing my journey with you all.

I will also be sharing about the newest blessings in my life! Twin Granddaughters!  Yes, I am finally a YiaYia (Greek for Grandma) I am super excited for this stage in my life and I am on a journey to be sure I am involved as possible in their lives.

I am really looking forward to connecting with people again, as Covid has really made it hard in real life.  I have so many things I want to share!

Random Art Journalings

~*Random Art Journalings that have happened in the last few months.  I keep going back and forth about blogging again.  So much to do and so little time.  Hope you enjoy these spreads from my Art Journal!

This is an ASL I love you hand and mixed media doll WIP.  I still haven't figured out where she is going.  It'll come to me though!

Another WIP, I started drawing her, but her face hasn't fully come to me yet.  I'm so indecisive!!

"Follow Your Heart" Finally, a completed page! I was inspired by TandiArt

I purchased fom Dyan Reaveley Dylusions paints on sale at Michaels and this was the first page I did with them.  Love the bright bold colors!!

This page took me 2 weeks to finish!  I just didn't know what to do with it, then I saw a quote on Instagram and knew exactly where I wanted it to go!  Really love this page!

~* Maybe I Should Change MY Last Name to... *~

WILLIAMS-SONOMA!! HA HA No really, read on!
I have had really good luck with selling Williams-Sonoma items on eBay.

Remember the William-Sonoma Culinary Herb bowls I blogged about in this post? Well, they did SELL!!!!

LISTED: Feb. 10,2012
SOLD: Feb. 26, 2012
PAID: $6.50
SOLD: $79.99 + shipping

I still have the canisters to this line listed Here!

Then a few weeks ago I picked up a box of 21 pieces of Spode Westbourne made EXCLUSIVELY {means $$$} for Williams-Sonoma for $25 + tax. I brought them home and then went away for the weekend. After the weekend, I finally was able to research them and there was only ONE completed listing, which had 2 plates for $99. I ran to the garage to get my box and start listing them! I listed them in lots of 2 for $99.99 on Auction. It was almost the end of the auction, there was not ANY watchers :( I took a change emailing the buyer that had bought the one I saw in the completes. I told him that I will be willing to take an offer on the whole lot if he happened to miss the auctions.

On the night that they were ending I went to a Game Night with a friend,  at the end of the night I noticed that one of the lots had SOLD! I was pretty happy about that. I got in my car to drive home, imagine my surprise when I saw that 4 lots total has SOLD!!! All to the guy that I had emailed.  He was VERY grateful that I spammed his inbox sent him that email. I was doing the happy dance for the rest of the night and next day too!!! He left wonderful feedback and sent me a very nice Thank you note.

LISTED: Feb. 21,2012
SOLD: Feb. 28, 2012
PAID: $27.19 including tax for all 21 pieces
SOLD: $99.99 x 4 = $399.96!!! + shipping & insurance

2 weekends ago I went to some Garage Sales. I happen to find a William-Sonoma ceramic Strawberry which is a Jam jar complete with it's spoon. I picked it up for only $1!  I will be listing it in my store soon for $19.99!

How do you think Kathryn Williams-Sonoma sounds? Not too shabby, huh?  Needless to say, I will ALWAYS pick up WS brand items.

~* Teapot Birds Nest *~

A month or so ago, I saw a picture on a friends Facebook feed that was soooo adorable. The pictures was of a Teapot Birds Nest by Bow Boutique. I didn't want to spring for the $27 in British pounds, which is about $42 American dollars.

I thought it was adorable and thought if I ever came across a teapot that would work, that I would try to make one myself. It is a great way to recycle and would make a Fabulous gift! Fast forward 2 days later, I was out in one of my Thrifting adventures when I spied this out of the corner of my eye!!

I was SUPER excited, I ran walked over and picked it up. It did not have a price tag on it and I was hoping that it would not be more than $5.00. I carried it around with me while I finished my shopping. I was very happy when the cashier said it was only $2.00!!!  SCORE!!!

Last weekend we went up to my Uncles house to spend some time with family that was here from out of state. I knew that my Uncle would have ALL of the tools I needed to make the pot. I had decided to make it for my Aunt and Uncle. They love nature and have many different feeders and bird dwellings. I knew it would be perfect for their yard.

My Uncle and I started working on it on Saturday afternoon.  I found some wood that I could use for the base and back laying around my Uncles yard. The process was relatively quick and painless. No injuries or broke pieces!

Here it is on the work bench. We went off to drink as the glue dried. I checked on it often to make sure none of the kids or my Aunt had messed with it. With 10 kids around that weekend, I was sure someone would want to touch it and move it around. Luckily, everyone stayed away from it.

And here is the finished product.  It was really great spending time with my Uncle working on the project. We have decided that we will make more, as soon as I am able to find Score more teapots. We figured out alot of things we could do to the next ones to improve the aesthetics of the Bird Next.

I am especially happy that this only cost me $2.00!! That is a savings of over $40!!

Perhaps you will come across a teapot and try it for yourself or as a gift for someone too!!

~* Not a Mistake at All *~

Back in 2010, I wrote a post about Learning from My Mistakes. In that post I mentioned a Ralph Lauren Cashmere Sweater that had a bluish stain on the inside hem.
I finally listed the Sweater in February of 2011. Earlier this month I SOLD the Sweater for full asking price even though I had a "Best Offer" button on the Listing! Just goes to show you, that you can still sell NWT items that are stained as long as you disclose the flaw. I purchase it for $6.57. Awesome Profit!

~ Frugal Friday ~

Almost a year ago to the day, I posted another "Frugal Friday"post about some Williams Sonoma bowls that I had picked up from the thrift store. Recently, I saw the same bowl and of course swooped them up, remember I had SOLD them for a GREAT price!
This time, I only got 4, for $6.50 including tax. But still planning to make another GREAT profit from them by listing them for $79.99 in my store.

I also picked up this Men's The North Face Apex Vest for $8.12 including tax. I am listing it in my store for $69.99.

The FREE item this week is: Angelcare BebeSounds Sound & Movement Monitor. Will list in my store for $49.99

I hope to be doing some Happy Dancing like I was a year ago!
