~* Frugal Friday *~
Frugal Friday, Freebie Friday, hmmm.... I can go on and on, but I won't BORE you with title names! I know you want to see what I have in store this week. I often stalk cruise the Craigslist Free section and the Yahoo Freecycle in my area. I am always coming across really good deals for my home and eBay store. Also, the Thrift Stores are like an addiction, if I see one I MUST stop and go inside. It drives my daughter insane!
When I am in the Thrift Store I look for brand names such as: Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Gymboree, Janie & Jack, Coach, Dansko and Williams-Sonoma. Just to name a few. My actual list of names to look for is quite LOOOONNNG.
Recently I found these Williams-Sonoma Culinary Herbs bowls.
They are GORGEOUS!! There was 7 of them and I paid $2.99 each. So with tax I paid $22.97. I was thinking of keeping them for myself. However, I put them in my store for $199.99 with a Or Best Offer (OBO) option, just to see how they would do. Yesterday, I got an offer that I could not refuse! Take a look at what the SOLD for!!!
So, yes I was doing the HAPPY DANCE!! They had only been listed a few days and I was very happy with the offer, which allows me to buy more inventory! Yeah!
As, I was packing up the bowls today, I get an email with another offer! {I hope this keeps up!}
Recently, I had gotten this Breast Bump off of a Free site.
I did have to clean it up a little and be sure it was sterilized by eBay's standards. I KNEW this was going in my eBay store as I have NO need for one of these (not in 17 years!). So again I put it in my store for $159.99. Today it SOLD for...... (you gotta click the SOLD to find out!)
Once again I am doing the Happy Dance! I hope to be Happy Dancin' through the weekend!! I hope you all get to do some Happy Dances this weekend!

~* Frugal Friday *~
I hate despise paying full price for ANYTHING! I love, love, love to Decorate with Beautiful items! I am totally in love with Ballard Designs, West Elm, Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn. Can I afford their prices?? HECK NO! And even if I could, I think it is silly to pay so much for {things}. I was admiring some of the mirrrors on the Restoration Hardware site. Especially this Trumeau Mirror.
I love how it is shaped like a Column. It has such Old World charm. But at$294-$495, oh wait they are on SALE! $235.99 - $395.99 {pfft} still waayyy out of my price range. They describe as "late 19th-century architectural window", but I still think it looks like an old architectural column!
I was browsing a local Thrift Store a few days ago looking for inventory for, when I caught a mirror out of the corner of my eye. I made a made dash for the area.
Priced at $24.99, it was still a little more than I wanted to pay. Good thing I am a regular there and most of the workers know me. I was able to make it out of the store with it for $19.99!!! I saved $376!! I know the RH one is a bit more rustic, but I am loving the style of this one. Ihave placed was going to place it above my fireplace mantel. Which looked like this at the time.
The Beautiful frame I got off of Craigslist.org in the FREE section. I am waiting to find the right sized mirror to put inside of it, but for now, I get lots of comments just the way it is.
However, my Lovely new purchase just didn't look right. I walked around my home trying to find the perfect spot. And I DID! There is a wall as you are coming up the stairs to the main floor, just before the kitchen. I have a table there, another Thrift Store purchase of $25!! So I tried the Mirror there. I am IN L-O-V-E!!! It goes oh so Perrrfect with the table (at the time I bought I thought I was going to paint it black, glad I didn't).
What do you think? Perfect, right?!!?
I would love to start having this being a weekly post, with a Mr. Linky for others to share their Frugal Finds. Interested?

A Craft A Day....
...Keeps the Doctor Away! Well, I like to this so anyway. Here are my latest creations that I have been working! This Friday, I am giving up my home for some dear friends to host a Bunco Party! I love Bunco it's really fun! The Ladies are Lively, plus we get to eat and drink!! Yay!
Back in April I read a post of House of Hepworths for Rollin' the Dice! I knew these would be perfect. I did mine a little different. I just used square styrofoam cubes. :)I always get wonderful compliments on them.
I wanted to add to the decor for this Friday's game night. I decided to make some pen holders for the tables. I was inspired by Ballard Designs Burlap wrapped vases. I never knew Burlap could be so Beautiful!
$49 to buy (source Ballard Design
I have seen Tutorials all over BlogLand for these babies. I followed suit by using the Dollar Store Vases & Candle Holders. This project is easy-peasy! The burlap I received free from Freecyle. {those of you who know me personally, know of my love affair with Freecycle} They are Rice Bags. I originally thought I would sell them, then I thought I would used them as Grocery Bags. However, I have been seen a ton of projects with them and I want to make a few. Lucky for me, I have plenty of bags for trial and error!
Numbers were also REALLY popular around the Blogisphere. I hand painted the 1, 2, 3 on each Pen Holder cup. My handwriting is not usually that fancy, so I printed off a Font that I liked and copied the style to the burlap. Who knew I had Patience for this?!?
Next I had to decide how high I wanted them to stand or if I did at all. I tested the 3 with two different candle holders for bases. And then I left one without. I couldn't decide. I liked them all!! So I just decided to make the set exactly the way I tested it! It will be sorta Perfect for Bunco. Especially since the #1 table is the highest, just like the number one in the set. Number 2 is the middle table, so it gets medium sized height.
Then there is the "Losers" table. Bottom of the totem pole. So, number 3 doesn't get a base at all. Aren't we terrible, calling each other Losers?? But some people like being the "Biggest Loser" of the night! Why, you ask? They get to pick a prize for most loses. Of course it's nothing as grand as TV show, but the gift is always something Special!
Now go get your Craft on, to keep that Dr. away!
Don't forget to scroll down and enter my Blogiversary Giveaway (today is the LAST day!) and also I still need 3 for the Pay It Forward project!

~* PAY IT FORWARD *~
Shanny over at Princess Crafts {a lot} has started the New Year out with a fantastic idea incorporating the Pay It Forward mentality. I am hoping to take part in this over the next couple of months! Leave a comment here and blog about this awesome idea, too.
"Pay It Forward" is the idea that random acts of kindness are given without expecting anything in return. It's passing on a kindness hoping that your recipients will do the same, forming a never-ending chain of goodwill-- that's what this is all about. As a bonus, this is also a great way to connect with our fellow crafters, to network, and to share our enjoyment of crafting instead of just keeping it to ourselves or where only friends and family get to see it.
Here is how Pay It Forward works in Blogland: Make a comment on this post. The first three people who comment will receive a handmade gift from me within the next few months! I will be contacting you for your mailing address so please make sure you post that in your comment too or make sure your blogger profile has your email address listed. The first three people that comment will post this same idea on their own blogs and commit to making a gift for the first three people who comment on their post and so on and so forth.
So, in short, the first three people to comment here will get something handmade by me (providing they also make a Pay it Forward post on their own blog). I'll be reading your blog to figure out what to make you and to make sure that you have posted about your Pay it Forward!

WOW! I can't believe it has been 3 years since I started blogging. I am just amazed how time flies by! I have had a lot of ups and downs since then, but I am really looking forward to what 2011 holds!

~* HONEYSUCKLE *~
Have you seen the gorgeous new color of 2011?? Honeysuckle!!
Saturated Hot Pink – it’s bold, it’s vibrant, it’s pretty and strong at the same time, and looks great against sharp, chic brights such as Poppy Red, Jade and Turquoise. It also plays well off Warm Tan shades of Khaki, Taupe and Golden Sand.
Look at this awesome lamp!! I think it would look better in the Quatrefoil pattern. hmmm, that may have to be a DIY project!
Having a POP of color does wonders for a room. I am lovin this Office space (wish my look liked this!) The Dark Chocolate woods with the Faux Honeysuckle plant is just Fabulous!
I have a feeling I am going to be picking up a can of this paint for this years DIY projects! HOT HOT HOT!!!
