~* Teaching ASL *~

Today, was my first day of teaching ASL at an Elementary School as part of their After-School Enrichment program. I was ready, as I had worked on the Lesson plans a few days ago, but I was still nervous. I have tutored adults before, but always on a one on one level. Being in the classroom and seeing their eager faces, was so AWESOME! I can wait to do it again next week!

I taught them the Alphabet and a few "Baby" signs. I am sharing the Alphabet with you too! Enjoy!

  1. So glad you're teaching sign...
I used sign language with both my babies. My oldest used it exclusively until he was almost 2 1/2. He has autism and had a speech delay. It was wonderful that he had a way to get his needs across when the words just weren't there for him yet.
